Radiant Memories: A Week of Tribute to the Golden Age of Radio at Rockingham County
[BRENTWOOD, NH] — In celebration of National Skilled Nursing Care Week®, from Mother’s Day, May 12, to May 18, 2024, Rockingham County is proud to announce a series of events under this year’s theme, “Radiant Memories: A Tribute to the Golden Age of Radio.”
Throughout the week, residents, staff, families, and volunteers will engage in activities, such as themed dress up days, a Safari tour, live entertainment, and a home run derby – all planned to ignite memories and honor the rich, vibrant era of radio.
These events are designed not only to entertain but also to foster a deep connection among participants, celebrating the unique histories and contributions of everyone at Rockingham County.
“This week helps us shines a light on the magic that happens in our nursing homes every day,” said Jason Smith, Senior Director of Long-Term Care Services at Rockingham County. “Nursing home communities create a real sense of home, filled with love, laughter, and genuine connections. Our incredible staff and residents are the heartbeat of our community, and I couldn’t be more grateful for all that they do.”

Love to come to come, love the staff and skilled nursing every single one loves the residents as well as the residents love’s the community and staff & nurses. My mother is there and is well taken care of by all. I thank you all for getting to know her and see and help her she does well with all of the people that take care of herself she’s blessed to have you all there I’m grateful for your caring heart ❤️.
