Restorative Nursing
Rockingham County Nursing Center provides a restorative nursing program designed to help residents maintain the functional gains they make in physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Under the direction of the Restorative Care RN and a dedicated staff of Restorative Aides, individualized programs are developed for each resident to ensure they maintain their maximum functional capacity. Restorative nursing emphasizes the resident’s participation and focuses on each resident’s strengths, needs, and desires.
