Rockingham County Rehabilitation, Nursing Center, and Assisted Living Community is excited to announce the a new dance therapy program for residents. This new program will provide seniors with a fun and engaging way to improve their physical and mental health.

Activity Coordinator Kenneth Wing, CTRS has received his Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) certification through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP). The CDP is the earned credential that recognizes the highest standard in Alzheimer’s and dementia education has been achieved.

Rockingham County Rehabilitation, Nursing Center and Assisted Living Community has purchased a cutting-edge resident engagement technology called the Tovertafel. The Tovertafel is an interactive game system designed specifically for older adults living with dementia.

January 23-29 is National Activity Professionals Week. This week, Rockingham County joins senior living communities across the United States in recognizing the essential role of activity professionals in long-term care settings. The theme for National Activity Professional Week 2023 is “Adventure Awaits.”

RCRNC recently partnered with Greg West Photography to film 3D virtual tours of the dedicated Rehabilitation Center and Assisted Living Community. These self-guided walkthroughs allow anyone to explore the spaces at their own convenience with a simple click of a button.

The Rockingham County nursing home has received a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The nursing home Five-Star Quality Rating System is a tool featured on the Care Compare website. Nursing homes with CMS 5-star ratings are considered to have above average quality compared to other nursing homes in the state.

Rockingham County Rehabilitation & Nursing Center and Assisted Living Community worked closely with the Town of Brentwood, NH to review options for residents to exercise their voting rights. Together, Rockingham County and town officials hosted an absentee voting day for residents prior to the November 8 election.
