Rockingham County Named A Best Nursing Home of 2024

Brentwood, NH – Rockingham County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is proud to share that it has been named a Best Nursing Home of 2024 by U.S. News.

To be eligible for the recognition, a nursing home must have been certified by Medicare and Medicaid according to the July 2023 CMS nursing home provider census, and rated as “High Performing” in short-term rehabilitation, long-term care or both. According to U.S. News, “Out of the 15,007 nursing homes evaluated by U.S. News, 2,804 (19%) met those criteria.”

According to U.S. News, Rockingham County scored as High Performing for short-term rehab and Average for long-term care with an overall rating of Better than Average. To determine the ratings, U.S. News analyzed data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicare Services (CMS). The key metrics they scored included patient outcomes, nurse staffing, facility complaints, and minimizing the use of hypnotic medications.
