Brentwood – Senior Director of Long-Term Care Services, Jason Smith, has joined the Board of Trustees at Riverwoods Exeter, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC). Smith brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise that will be invaluable to the Riverwoods organization.
Smith has over 25 years of experience leading healthcare organizations. He is the current Senior Director of Long Term Care Services of Rockingham County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center and Assisted Living Community. The community consists of skilled nursing, assisted living and memory care. Two years into his tenure at Rockingham County, Jason received the NH Nursing Home Administrator of the Year Award for guiding the community from a 2-star rated nursing home to 5-star.
Prior to joining Rockingham County, Smith served as the Director of Health Care Services of Kendal at Hanover a Life Plan Community, where he led clinical operations. Before his role at Kendal at Hanover, he was the Executive Director for the Courville Communities. Smith has also served as an independent consultant and was the past President of the NH Chapter of American College of Health Care Administrators.
